For three years, Ben Nurgenc and Anja Zihlmann have been exploring and mapping special landscapes across Europe—rare biotopes, primeval-like forests, and sites of exceptional scientific and aesthetic significance. In the tension between scientific methodology and intuitive approach, a process archive of these places has emerged.
Seit drei Jahren erkunden und kartieren Ben Nurgenc und Anja Zihlmann besondere Landschaften in Europa – seltene Biotope, urwaldähnliche Wälder und Orte von besonderer wissenschaftlicher und ästhetischer Anziehungskraft. Im Spannungsfeld zwischen wissenschaftlicher Methodik und intuitiver Annäherung entsteht ein Prozessarchiv dieser Orte.
Walks & Places ist eine fortlaufende Auseinandersetzung mit der Beziehung des Menschen zur Natur und der Suche nach mystischen Orten.
